ORION is a filter-press-based system for treating process water and wastewater at marble, stone and granite plants. The system separates stone residue (sludge) from the water directly on-site, and allows a large share of the water to be recovered for reuse — depending on configuration, recovery rates can approach 95%. In practice, that means less consumption of fresh water, less load on downstream filtration and disposal systems, and less waste sent to landfill.
